This model is specially designed for the Jonker Sailplanes JS3 JET-equipped gliders, keeping the original electric philosophy of the double Avionic- and JET-electric busses. Included with the delivery is a new battery locking clamp (*thumbscrew not included, use original) and the JS3 connector is pre-installed and ready to use.

Lithium LiFePO4
The AIRNERGY Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery is a product with great performance. LiFePO4 embraces a long service life, optimal energy density in both volume as well as in weight and a high grade of safety. The battery contains everything you need in a custom-built durable outdoor-weather resistant ASA-CF casing!

JS3 – Battery FuseBox
Part of the new design casing of this AIRNERGY LiFePO4 battery is a double-FuseBox which houses the wiring and of course the (automotive style) fuse. This model is specially designed for the Jonker Sailplanes JS3 JET equipped gliders! It features two fuses; one for the Avionics bus and one for the JET-bus. If in one of the systems a short circuit or overload was present, you can still use the other bus. Redundancy – CHECK!

Due to the smaller than usual height, it will be necessary to to use a new battery locking clamp; we include this part for free! Simply reuse the original thumbscrew and you’re ready to go.

Service life of pbq LiFePO4 batteries
The AIRNERGY LiFePO4 battery has a service life of more than 2500 cycles at 100% depth of discharge and a remaining capacity of 80%!

To protect the battery from over charging and over discharging the battery is equipped with a powerful 60A internal battery management system (BMS). The BMS also takes care of the balance between the internal cell.

Storage and safety instructions:
If not in use for periods longer than 2 months, charge to FULL and store at a COOL temperature.
Charge with a suitable 12.8V LiFePO4 charger only. Do NOT charge at FREEZING temperatures!
Do not short-circuit, disassemble, puncture or incinerate. No fuse inside. Warranty void if opened.
