The TQ-KTX2-S second generation Mode-S transponder for the standard 57mm Ø cut-out is one of the most modern transponders on the market. Lowest weight, compact dimensions, lowest power consumption are made possible by the highly digitized technology. A brilliant color display suitable for sunlight use, ADS-B out capable with retrofit-kit and intuitive operation result in a price-performance ratio that can hardly be surpassed.

As a surveillance radar, the KTX2 transponder code offers the highest possible flight safety for the pilot because it does not only transmit the Squawk and flight level, but also a 24-bit identifier which is uniquely assigned to each aircraft. In addition, the air traffic control unit can specifically interrogate certain transponders and is able to request the altitude information, speed and flight direction. The KTX2 does, hence, contribute significantly to flight safety.
